|| 14.04. Full track list for upcoming "Under My Skin" is been announced. It has 12 new songs (Take Me Away, Together, Don't Tell Me, He Wasn't, How Does It Feel, My Happy Ending, Nobody's Home, Forgotten, Who Knows, Fall To Pieces, Freak Out & Slipped Away) with some additional songs for UK and Japan. Currently, Avril is still on acoustic tour at shopping malls all over USA. But, shortly she'll come to Europe. Jessie has left Avril's band and she has new rhythm guitarist - Craig.

This time, I believe that the "Nobody's Home" really shows how her voice has evolved, and I suggest that this is the best song available (in acoustic performance). |link|

|| 09.02. Again, sad night for Avril at Grammy Awards... She didn't won anything this year too. The positive thing is that she's been nominated even though she didn't made a new album last year, but the negative side is that again some artists went in front of her in some categories even though they don't belong there (ex. Pink won Grammy for best female rock!? In front of Avril? What kind of rock is that!?)

|| 27.01.2004. There are two samples available on the net from Avril's upcoming album... "Daydream" and "Don't Tell Me". The first one has a potential to become a hit... It's catchy, but again in the same Avril's way as songs before - guitars, easy on the verse and with distortion on chorus, simple as that. It seams that she hasn't really went to stronger rock as she said. The other song is slower, but made on the same recipe. Look for the samples on www.avrilhardcore.com.

|| 26.12.2003. Billboard's end year charts has been relased. Avril's album from 2002 - Let Go, still managed to climbe up to 5th place of most selling albums and single I'm With You came to the 18th place on the year singles top 100, and on the 6th place on the Adult Top 40. Nice job Avril!

|| 16.12. My World exclusive review!!! READ IT HERE!!! Also - Avril recieved 3 nominations for upcoming 46th annual Grammy Awards. She is nominated for Song of the Year (I'm With You), Best Female Pop Vocal Performance (I'm With You), and Best Female Rock Vocal Performance (Losing Grip). Good luck this year!

|| 22.11. Avril appears on one Christmas album... It's called "This Christmas Too?", and she performs one songe along with Chantal Kreviazuk. This is one slow christmas song played on piano and followed by wonderful voices from Avril and Chantal. You can hear it here.

||16.03. Croatian most important music award show - Porin was held in Opatija, small town on Adriatic coast. Even though this award is predominantly directed to inland authors and singers, there are five categories for foregin artists. These are for the best video, song of the year, best pop/rock album, best classic album & best video program.

All I've wanted to say is that Avril wasn't nominated in any category! Neither for song of the year neither for album of the year (pop/rock)! And nominees were Eminem, Robbie & Red Hot Chilli Papers.

I'm not saying that they don't deserve this, but that Avril sure does and that she must have been voted in for, at least, two categories (best song and album)! To fortify this I chip in the rule for voting: "Biracko tijelo pri glasovanju u ovoj kategoriji uz strucne kriterije uvažava i opcu prihvacenost - popularnost skladbe. U tom smislu Upravni odbor može donijeti odluku prema kojoj ce se u drugom krugu glasovanja ukljuciti i glasovi izvan standardnog birackog tijela Porina. Nagradu prima izvodac." -- This rule says that song of the year should be voted on proficient criterion and global popularity of the song! Well... It doesn't seam it was like that. It seams like that Croatian music "experts" are not aware of "Let go" and "Complicated" success! But one thing is obvious - they regard Avril as a bubble-gum pop-rock sweetie who is not good enough (even) for nomination for this regardless award (for her)...

And at the end, I'd like to add that song-of-the-year award went to great Robbie Williams, but without Avril to withstand him. She is THE ONLY true hit of 2002. deserving full attention and praise. Unfortunatly she didn't get this in Croatia, as she did in many other countries all over the world.
